A bicycle festival for the whole family in Herriman, Utah.
Join us Saturday, May 30, 2015 for Healthy Herriman's sixth annual Pedal Palooza! This popular, family-friendly event is held each year to promote health, fitness, fun and cycling safety. There are lots of great events for people of all ages and abilities to enjoy. Whether you're an expert biker or a four year-old cyclist with training wheels, Pedal Palooza has something for you!
Details for each event are posted below the photos of previous years' events.
Pedal Palooza will be held at Butterfield Park (6212 W. 14200 S.) in Herriman. The bike parade kicks off the event at 10, with the races, bike rodeo and helmet decorating immediately following. Helmet checks will start at 9 (with a brief break for the bike parade) for those who need their helmets checked prior to the event. HELMETS ARE REQUIRED FOR PARTICIPATION. Parking will be available at the event, but residents are encouraged to ride their bikes!

Pedal Palooza will kick off at 10 a.m. with a family bike parade at Butterfield Park. Use your imagination to decorate your ride. Judges will be on hand to select prize winners, so show us your style!
Trained professionals will check the safety and fit of your helmet, so make sure to bring it. Healthy Herriman has purchased replacement helmets for those in need (free of charge and while supplies last). We will begin checking helmets at 9 a.m. before the parade begins and continue throughout the event, with a brief break for the bike parade.
Have you ever wanted to ride in a real bike race? Here's your chance! Kids ages 3-12 can ride in the age-division lap races. Medals will be awarded, but let's be honest: bragging rights are reward enough!
Unified Police Officers will escort young cyclists through an obstacle course. They will point out hazards, safety tips, and how to apply the rules of the road, helping youth make connections between the 'rules' and real-world application.
Show the world your style! Herriman's Youth Council will be on hand with tons of stickers to decorate and personalize your helmet. Your skid-lid will be the envy of the neighborhood!
Need a new ride? We've got several boy and girl bikes and scooters to raffle off! Kids will earn one raffle ticket for each of these events they complete: parade, race, rodeo, helmet safety check, helmet decorating, and mountain bike ride.
Infinite Cycles Bike Shop will have mechanics on site to perform bicycle safety inspections. Service work will not be performed on site, but a free inspection and evaluation will be available to all Pedal Palooza Participants.
